Modeling Acting
You've had those nightmare modeling acting jobs where you show up for a five hour rehearsal for a performance that consists of you entering stage right and exiting stage left. Inevitably this will lead to discussions which do nothing to convince you that any modeling acting gigs are better than none at all, despite the most sincere of efforts.
This well-intentioned advice is even more annoying when you truly realize that your huge talent is being wasted on a forty-seven second appearance. Words of encouragement spoken by people with modeling acting parts that involve numerous lengthy appearances and costume changes, it would seem just make things worse.
There are many smaller modeling acting parts to be played in the process of becoming a big movie star and/or famous model. Judge Reinhold on Magnum, P.I. or Jennifer Lopez dancing on In Living Color, are a couple of good examples of people working the opportunities they had to become successful in the business.
